Work Experience

Please note the documents discussed below are provided in the Related Documents Section.

This section of our site has been designed to assist you find work experience.

If you are looking for a placement and would like assistance from the Careers Advisory Service these are the steps to follow:

1. Access and work through the following activities from either the CareerLine website or in hard copy from a Career Resource Centre. These activities must be completed before you proceed to the next steps:
  • The Work-Experience Process (Flowchart)

  • The Work Experience Planner (Records student progress including all contact they have with employers)
2. When you have worked through the above activities you can contact a career advisor to make an appointment. Work Experience Workshops are also conducted during semester. Check out Job Search Workshops under events on JobsPlus+.
